There are many organizations throughout the world that work hard to make this planet of ours a better place. Following is a list of causes that we support by donating 5% of proceeds from all projects priced at $500 or more:

BC SPCA
The BC SPCA is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its 36 branches located around BC and its provincial office in Vancouver, the BC SPCA provides a wide range of services for more than 53,000 homeless, abused, and abandoned animals around the province.

Canadian Organic Growers
COG is a national information network for organic farmers, gardeners and consumers. Its mission is to be a leading organic information and networking resource for Canada, promoting the methods and techniques of organic growing along with the associated environmental, health and social benefits.

David Suzuki Foundation
Since 1990, the David Suzuki Foundation has worked to find ways for society to live in balance with the natural world that sustains us. Focusing on four program areas – oceans and sustainable fishing, forests and wild lands, climate change and clean energy, and the web of life - the Foundation uses science and education to promote solutions that help conserve nature.

EarthSave Canada
EarthSave Canada is a non-profit, educational organization promoting awareness of the health, environmental, and ethical consequences of our food choices. They advocate the move towards a plant-based diet for better health, environmental sustainability, and compassion toward non-human animals.

Habitat for Humanity - Comox Valley
Habitat for Humanity is an independent, non-profit, faith-based housing program dedicated to the elimination of poverty housing by building homes in partnership with families in need. The purpose of Habitat is to provide simple, decent, affordable housing to those who would not qualify for or be able to afford a conventional mortgage.

UNICEF Canada
UNICEF works for and with children in 158 countries and territories, advocating for children's rights, ensuring their basic needs are met and enabling them to reach their full potential. UNICEF's programming priorities include immunization, girls' education, HIV and AIDS, child protection, and early childhood development. UNICEF is also present whenever emergencies strike, working to ensure the well-being and development of children.

You Are Not Alone (YANA)
When a child is struggling with a medical concern a family should be together. YANA provides a home away from home for these families. YANA has four fully furninshed apartments in Vancouver for the exclusive use of Comox Valley families. YANA also provides funding for families to help relieve financial stress and allow the family the freedom to focus their energy on their ill child.
